 | IP Address Change Recently, I have noticed that Rogers has changed my IP address. They haven't changed it in years. Does this mean that my area has been upgraded to docsis? They sent a letter via mail saying that they would be "upgrading services" in my area within the month. Any ideas? |

| It probably means that their DHCP server croaked and they lost the lease info on the IP's, meaning they had to reset the DHCP server, and you got a new IP. Also, check if you haven't been capped recently to 1.5/192. I've had a period of 1.5 years with the same IP with Rogers, it changed a few times since cuz of DHCP server problems. -- Thanks Leafs for a great season & playoffs. |
