OH SHYT YA!!

I just ordered 3500/800k DSL from AEI..w00t!!
The only thing I really didn't like was that I have to buy the modem.
The tech I talked to was very nice, I mentioned DSLR and »www.canadianisp.com he had a chuckle when I mentioned what happened with Rogers. And he said the speed and bitcap for AEI are "pretty sweet." I agreed.

Ahhhh...NICE!!!

How much for the modem? Thats a pretty sweet deal, except the buying of the modem, i don't like, they also have cable service, I might check into that, since I can't get dsl.

no shiznit!! nice!

What made you choose AEI over IGS?

And are we able to use a DSL modem that we have already if we don't want to purchase another one?

IGS DOES NOT have 3500/800 residential service yet. I talked to them first, and it's in the works for the future, the fastest residential ADSL they offer is 1.5mbps.
Modem is $199 and I get to keep it.
AEI is strictly ADSL and dial-up.
Sympatico will not let you keep the modem, you are renting it right now.

Sorry, it was IGS that had the cable service for $59.95, and I don't know the speeds, I will call and find out.

It would be dum for them not to let you keep the modem b34tbox, I would rather rent though, in case anything goes wrong with the modem, you can always get an exchange, have you received any information on the warranty etc?

Are you sure you want that man? Service sounds great, but I would be scared about the whole purchasing of the modem thing.

I'd rather buy a modem and have 3500/800 then to rent a modem and have this. »/speedtests/12···640904/1
Of course, I will just have to wait until I actually get it.
