I see my internet access just grind to a halt, but the modem light is still online. It often resumes after a minute or two, but sometimes requires a modem reset. And they said it was supposed to gives us better service, my ass! they've combined two nodes here and I'm seeing way worse service than before. I call tech support and they tell me its my Win2k Server, because its unsupported by them. Again MY FAT ASS because the machine has NOT been changed in any way for over 2 years. Screw them, I think I'm gonna start shopping around for an independent DSL provider. I already have an Alcatel modem, so it shouldn't be bad. -- Crunch for »www.team-discovery.com/

When i transfer a file to my friend who is living in Asia by using icq, the speed was only around 10KB, and my friend told me that he usually transferred 60KB to his friends! Rogers SUCKS!!! Sigh! I have no choices for choosing hi-speed in toronto, because i have the alarmsystem which the DSL company rejected my order....Anyway..... However, when i download things in download.com, the speed is acceptable as I can get around 95KB. rAfChOw Premium join:2001-03-19 Toronto, ON	First off, it looks that you're capped but you should be getting around 1200/180 on your speed tests even if you're capped. Looking at your line quality test it's obvious that you have some packet loss at your end, that means you probably have some wiring issues. Read this FAQ to determine if you have wiring problems: »Cable Modems and Wiring Issues BTW, get rid of that Lancity modem! They are sh!t. Get a Terayon.
