Oh yeah, it was also mint when I "tweaked" my modem for a day. =]

I'd bet some of you remember that.

Craziest thing is, I used to have 48ms in Quake3 before the infamous cap, and still have 48ms after the cap.

your pings are the same because online games, especially on the q3a engine, dont push your connection to its limits
the ping times to your phub, etc are what makes up your ping, and rogers didnt tamper with these...
