| Let's bypass the record companies altogether I hate the RIAA and the tactics they use. I'd rather support the artists directly. I think it'd be much better to buy a CD from a band directly, and let them actually make some money off of it, rather than support the draconian record companies and the RIAA.
Anyone know of web sites where one can go and see newer bands/independent bands? I mean, I like the idea of them not being RIAA slaves and all, but if they don't get any publicity, how can we hear of them and check them out?
Since I don't have VH1/music video on my cable, how will I find out about these guys? It's not exactly practical for me to surf the Net and stumble upon their websites after all. |
