Making improvements... Ok, I revised the original post to include the suggestions that a couple of you offered. I added SYNACK's comment about the fact that many companies misuse the term 'DMZ', and I added LowWaterMark's suggestion that a switch be used in the DMZ to keep a would be attacker from monitoring all traffic to and from the Internet.
Thanks for making it better. I think it may be FAQ-worthy now.
