Possible to change IP?

Is there a legal way to change my Rogers IP?

It is possible, the easiest way is to change your network card. Sounds silly, but its the easiest. Just make sure you release the IP before you do it. The other way is to monitor your IP lease via WINIPCFG (9x/ME) or IPCONFIG /ALL (NT/2K/XP) and release your IP a few hours before it expires. Then turn off your modem for a day or so, chances are it'll come back with a new IP. You can try pleading your case to Rogers Tech support saying someone on the internet is trying to attack or hack you, they might reset it for you, but Rogers tech support is incompetent, your request will mostly fall upon deaf ears.

How do you change a NIC's MAC address? I thought MAC was a unique number to every network card on the market? What NIC do you have?
