5360 - Southwestern Bell (SBC) Firmware Update
* Overview
This update is only for the 120-5360-502 modem version. Using it on any other model will corrupt the modem. * Solution
To update your Efficient Networks 120-5360-502 modem, download the Update Guide and Setup.exe file to your hard drive and then follow the instructions as outlined in the Update Guide.
Please do not attempt to upgrade any other 5360 modem version with this updated firmware as it is not compatible with anything except the 120-5360-502 modem.
To verify that you have this version, look at the bottom of the modem and check to see that you have the part number 060-5360-023 listed there.
Note: Part Number and Model Number are not the same thing. If your part number is 060-5360-023 you have a 120-5360-502 modem.
If you see anything else besides that part number, DO NOT USE THIS UPDATE! IT WILL CORRUPT YOUR MODEM. |
