Anon | My Northpoint SDSL NYC Line is not down I have not transfered to Telocity because I heard bad things about that
They haven't contacted me..Someone posted that people didnt switch would be canceled at Jan14th..But it's still up for me.
Does any1 knows what's going on? I have not been billed since may btw |

Red Oak, TX | Flashcom/Rythms users were granted an extension to transfer to Earthlink by the new deadline of Jan 31.
Maybe a similar extension is being granted to Northpoint users too. |

I hope you know that you can switch to ANY Northpoint ISP not just Telocity. I switched to PANIX (NYC) who has been my Dial-Up ISP for about 10 years. I only went to Flashcom for DSL due to Panix not having Home DSL ready yet when my CO went online with Northpoint DSL. I planned to switch the line to Panix at the end of my 1-Year contract and I did so when it expired. Check out my Panix (and Flashcom) Review for the story. Just call a local ISP on the Northpoint list and they will do the switch for you. |
