I ditched COX

I dumped COX HSI and I went back to 56k. I'm really happy with dial-up (I'd rather say I was extremely unhappy with COX for almost two years). Now I'm ready to dump COX video as well(I ordered Dish Network). I hope the dish installation go with no problem. Bye COX, my worst encounter in my life yet.

Im not so sure "Dish Network" is any better. Good luck to you nonetheless.

You don't like Dish Network's video service? If so, please, share your experience. I'm sure COX's video has been horrible as well as internet.

I switched to DirecTV (for TV, not DSL) four years ago, and have nothing but good things to say about them.

Never had a problem. And my bill has actually gone down. When was the last time you got a letter from your cable provider telling you they were lowering your rate?

I have dish network and it has been working without a hitch for two years now. Only Thunderstorms will curb it.

LOL... I ditched COX video a year ago. Never even gave Cox HSI a chance. Now have dish network for video (Even with occasional LOS due to weather, its 1000% more reliable than Cox cable ever was). And I got 1.5 Mbit DSL (1.3Mbit effective speed with 50ms latency to most sites). Yeah... I pay a bit more, but its worth it not to have to struggle with tech support. At least I could cut back on my valium expenses.

I agree , I have directv (satelite tv)for 3 years and no problems at all.. my monthly bill is down also plus the sent a letter explaining their new packaging and it saved my another 5 dollars a month by switching packages and I gained 8 channels in the process.

I have Dish Network and they are wonderful. I only had a problem once and thats cause my satellite on my roof was loose and they sent someone over right away and fixed it. The guy who did the installation was great and even did wiring for me for free that he could have charged for. COX needs to take some lessons from Dish on Customer Service.
