The current beta was not really "leaked", but is available from netgear (See news story: »:/hosted/equip,9 ) with the disclaimer that it is not supported.

2) Is it logging attempts at remore login?
3) Does there seem to be a change in performance?

Successes and now logged. Same as locals. They weren't before. Attempts and failures are not logged so you still can't tell if someone is trying to hack in.
