Then I was downloading on Kazaa today as well as Edonkey and I took that other one. The throughput seemed mighty high.
Hmm I've seen that with the download part built into IE. If you have a resumed download you get a higher reported bandwidth. You could get some pretty intresting number if you were downloading a 120MB file, and it timed out then you retried, and it resumed it. You could get 1.2Mbit or higher on a 56k modem. That's all that comes to mind. It might have something to do with the way windows reports thoughput itself.
