what you can try is, release your ip (start, command, ipconfig/release) turn off PC, turn off the power for everyhthing, run downstairs unplug all tvs from the cable outlet, now come back to your computer and boot it all back on and see what happens.

Dude, Bell is just worst because you run off the crappy limit and you pay 80 bucks, mine as well get a fricking dedicated line. I have a friend on Bell paying 70-80 a month for it. |

Is it? Pro-Cap people claim caps are needed. Go figure. BTW, you should try www.CanadianISP.com, quite a few ISPs there without any limits or better limits than Sympatico. Good luck with your research! Oh one more thing, Rogers is going to cap sooner or later because they actually started this whole cap issue.

Actually all three of their plans have limits, 1/1,5/5,10/10 GB for each type as Lite/HSE/UHSE.

| Most rogers users have such problem. I am living in North York, an area that has many rogers users. In the recent days, my average ping goes up from 30ms to 100ms, and that, i guess it is a matter of tweak. If you tweak your connection to a suitable RWIN, then you will have better download speed, however, as our pings are unstable, we really don't have such time to tweak everytime we login to our computers...
