but i think i can try to help What your saying is, when you put the router on the chain, your connection does not work?
Well this is a router config problem, nothing wrong with rogers nor your pc.
First you should release your ip before unpluggin and connecting to the router, soo i would suggest unpluggin the router, connect pc to rogers modem, release ip, unplug everything, connect the router back, power up and refer to your ROUTER MANUAL on setting up your router to work with your pc and connection. -- ...:::M.A.U.1.0.8:::... |

With some cable providers one has to spoof the MAC address of the NIC card associated with the cable install.
