| Sony/RIAA = Hypocrites Oh and another thing... i find it disgusting beyond belief how from one side Sony is trying to prevent music to be copied from CDs to the computer, but then turning around and selling mp3 players which have no other purpose than to play songs that you have on your computer. That may be the best business model (prevent Joe Schmoe from doing the ripping himself thus preventing him from wanting to buy the CDs, but encouraging him to download mp3s off the internet (substitute p2p for internet) so that he can put it on a mp3 player. |

This isn't the first time that the hardware side of Sony and the media side of Sony have been at odds. I seem to remember hearing about internal strife between the two groups before over things like VCRs. |
