Re: Not a solution The audio signal from a CD player and the data signal from a modem are two totally different animals. Have you heard a modem work? Lots of static noises to us, but very coherent communication for the modem. It would be just the reverse. CD audio sounds all fine and dandy, but the modem would only hear it as garbage. Even if you get one of those old old modems that could hear the signal there is no way to receive that info well enough.
