| Neon DSL Rocks I called Neon Internet (DSL) and ordered my line. I had already had a Fujitsu Speedport modem so no equipment was needed.
It only took 4 days to have my line turned on. I have a Static IP address, and am always getting a Constant steady download speed that generally ranges between 600 kbps and 512 kbps.
The only problem I experienced was with Verizon overloading their DSLAM, which happens in this area quite often, but I am sure they do it every where else as well. I wish we didn't even have to deal with Verizon at all, but I guess they are the necessary Evil.
One thing I am looking into is Neon DSL is a fully ATM compliant ISP, so I will be getting an ATM modem next so that I can get directly on Neons Cloud and avoid going through Verizons All together! |
