This is really more of a Linksys issue, so please take any further discussion over there, but it sounds like a DNS issue. You'll have to set the DNS either in the router to be served by the router's DHCP (if it can) or in the TCP/IP configuration of your 2000/Me machine.

If this is it, say so, but if not, have fun in Linksysland.

To people who are having problems with cheap routers, sometimes, you get what you pay for. People who spend less than $75 on a Belkin, D-Link, or other cheap broadband router WILL have issues. Linksys is fine until you try to manage outgoing traffic.
