Computer Cops Now offers nmap scanning!

»66.221.179.99/modules.ph ··· ame=nmap

Computer Cops has moved to the new server (click: »66.221.179.99 ), so please make appropriate adjustments if necessary. If you pull our backend news file, just leave it as-is configured and in 24-48 hours the DNS servers cross the World will point to the new IP address. During the interim, if you wish to post and participate, use that link above and log in.

Those running refined firewall rulesets, and those whom are using Proxomitron should be reminded to redefine their rules and blocklists, and clear your cache between the new login attempts.

I logged on, clicked to get to the forums and I wasn't logged in. Logged in again, back to another page, etc. Round and round we go.

For the meantime, you have to accept that IP as a trusted cookie site. Once the domain goes thru, it'll be back to computercops.biz.

You're using the old site still.. JD5000 and I were able to log into the new server and post just fine. Make sure you are using the IP for now until the domain xfer takes place.

DNS worked fine -- my old link takes me there. I also entered the site into my Trusted sites zone. When I tried to sign-in, my password was 'AutoCompleted' but when I hit Enter I got:

Sorry, you can't access this file directly...

On an otherwise blank screen. ???

If I go to the site on my work computer (that has my computercops.biz cookie on it), then I go directly to the site. If I delete that cookie and try to sign on, I a taken to this page:

»www.computercops.biz/mod ··· xx=login

(Link, of course, modified to remove my password.)

R2, nothing should be different now. It is the same configuration as on the previous server. Just a backup/restore of the files and database. The only thing that has changed is the IP address. Make sure you are accepting that if need be.

Sorry, Z-X, but the problem ONLY occurs if I sign in using this pathway! If I sign in via other pathways, it works fine. Perhaps there is an error here???

ah, I tried logging in from there and the same thing happens to me. Get the page 'Sorry, you can't access this file directly...' and having my password show in the location bar is not good Z-X, something is amuck. I too have no other problems logging in via the other pathways.

Da Wabbit still has cases of empty beer bottles stacked up by that door and that is the rear entrance to the Tavern.

Your address is xxx ....
/usr/bin/nmap -sS -p 137-139 -P0 xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx -v -v 2>&1
You requested a scan type which requires r00t privileges, and you do not have them.

QUITTING!

As you know nmap SYN scan requires root access. Since apache isn't running as root, the SYN won't work. I'm setting up a special scheduler that will handle SYN scans.
