New info on Flashcom via Covad

My friend emailed Flashcom and asked them some questions. What he found out is that Flashcom will only be keeping their Covad customers. Strange and odd.

Well that's all they have left anyway, isn't it?

Their website says they have been negotiating with Covad about the remaining customer accounts, which I interpreted as meaning that they would be selling those over as soon as they could agree on terms.

If they do keep those customers, I'd be happy with that. I've had good service for the past two years and I doubt I'd be able to keep my static IP if I had to change ISPs.

I'll second that. I'd be happy to keep the service I have although I'd want to know there was a tech support staff out there that answered the phone. That and not have to log on each day holding my breath and crossing my fingers hoping I'm still online.

I would also gladly keep them.
