Re: Kerio3 beta 3 released eternalbeta
Funny you should mention Tiny Logger. Having posted the same message on another newsgroup, I got a reply from the guy that wrote the program asking whether somebody could email the log files to him. He said he would have a look at the layout and "maybe" have a go at writing a new tiny logger for kpf3. Lets hope so .

 | reply to gwion Could someone please tell me how to block ports 135 and 1704. I can't seem to be able to do it with 3B3 no matter what rule I use. Also, I can't seem to get the motify function to work properly |

 | reply to gwion Well, I don't want to start a thread since this is probably a dumb question. Yes, I'm using 3b3. Every time I install software with KPF3b3 up, I get an error message about kernel KPF not liking a long file name. Clicking OK to several of these messages always seems to allow the sw to install. But it seems odd since I'd not encountered this up until a few days ago. |

Complexity It takes some getting used to, but it runs excellently on windows 2000.
My sincere complements for the Kerio team!
Some questions too though (it's not all buttkissing):
1. Will there still be a relative simple version as Kerio 2 in the future? Many people I help with firewall and antivirus software are having a hard time as it is with Kerio 2, it's like noob's can't take too much. 2. Will Kerio 3 still be free for home users? (allways the money question...yeah, it's a bitch)
I'm looking forward to beta 4 as it is coming I read somewhere in this long thread. |
