Anon | Same situation here in Atlanta. The toll-call tech support number disconnects every single time. That's okay, we figured it out..we just cancelled the credit card that the service was billing to. We are switching to another ISP and hopefully Flashcom won't die before we get hooked up. Amazing to me is how the bill just keeps coming tho... |

 | Just canceled the credit card eh? I was considering doing this myself. Were you still under contract? I'm curious if there are any repucussions in that situation. |

Anon | reply to Mafukie If you are like most of us and have nos service from Flashcom, the contract has already been broken by Flashcom. I am not an attorney but am married to one. You cannot be forced to pay for services that you will never receive. |

UberAres join:2001-01-28 Clinton Township, MI | reply to Mafukie I had problems with flashcom myself. Numbers always disconnecting, and the like. FInally I found 2 numbers someone posted in this forum mid january and was able to get ahold of a person. They may be completely shut down now tho, Im unsure as to their final closing date. Two days after I got ahold of someone my service was pulled I couldnt belive it. Now, I just better not see a bill for Feb on my credit card next month.... |

New member! Joined 10-16-2000 Framingham, MA I sent them a certified letter a month and a half ago they refuse to sign for, and of course they refuse to talk to me also - today however I decided to call not 714-799-2300 but instead dialed 714-799-2302 and got a flashcom employee who of course sent me on a wild goose chase, also got this number 714-799-2547...please e mail me billy1958@rcn.com if you have any more number s and I will do likewise until they stop charging my gdm bank I have not been hooke d up now for 2 months due to breech of contract yet they still are charging my bank card, I will continue to ring their phones repeatedly until I am resolved!! (long distance calls are no longer expensive at all - in fact I call all the way from massachussettes for free using dialpad.com |

Anon | reply to Phos187 It seems to be working to have cancelled the card. We are still connected but have no idea for how so we have signed up for another DSL vendor and will be installed in less than a month. If they pull the plug, I can live with dial-up for that length of time (argh!) I racked up about $10 in calls trying to get a live human, my emails bounced back and I still have 6 months on my so-called contract. If you can't get them to tell them how to bill, I would assume as posted below, they are in breach, therefore voiding the contract. Funny thing tho...we got our regular email telling us our credit card account had been billed! I almost fell out of my chair! |
