Re: setting up a seti farm? Okay I have been working on a small site and would like to know if some of you would like to write some on the html pages that I have prepared? The pages I am offering for help on are:

who are you asking about the Temps if it,s my and My Set up. the Boards stay about 50C or So depends on the temp outside and the Amount of air flow that i Give them. -- Targets many - Friends few. |

My thoughts are basically, if your machine doens't lock up and the temps aren't crazy...then you are fine. They can run well into the 70C range according to the makers. If your machine locks up, then you have a problem, otherwise you are fine.
Also the higher OC will not like the heat, but at stock, you will be fine. Electronics generally don't like hot - cold cycles. If you leave it on all the time, the temps are not really going to hurt them. I have never fried a CPU by temperature. I think they will shut off before that. (As long as there is a heatsink on it..and running) -- Unlock'em,lap'em,Hang'em on the wall |
