scayyver : Just recieved my reminder that they were shutting of my DSL today. Sad how over a year ago, I had expected to keep ION forever, and joked about having to check C.O. distance as part of deciding where to move.

As of Nov 26th, the time of mega-broadband is over, and we all have to wade thru the marketing let-downs with the competitors with catchy slogans like "Screaming, flaming broadband! Pure bandwidth, you get an awesome 1.5/128k (with all of your serving ports blocked, and no static IPs) for $80/mo!".

Thanks Sprint, for the fun ride.

WAITING FOR EVEREST IN SHAWNEE MISSION!!
