 | reply to mkrebs This is truely amazing! I have been screwing with this card for 4 hours. Pull it out, plugging back in, re-installing new drivers from web site, and checking to make sure it was a V2.7 card. Going though registry to make sure drivers were completely removed. I saw the Event log and assumed (bad) that it was an install problem. What was difficult was the card worked for the first couple of boots up after installed and I never realized it stopped working after I pulled the cd out.
After reading this post, I put install cd back in and rebooted. Card worked instantly(wtf). I then did the reg fix suggested and problem solved!! I rebooted several times and no problems. Thanks for this helpful post.
Linksys, what is the problem here? I purchased this card 3 days ago and wasted 4 hours getting it to work. Why have you not fixed the drivers on the web-site?? This is a pretty lame bug that should have been fix a long time ago considering this post is several months old!! -- Mr Crusher |
