Early Thursday morning, Adelphia deprovisioned me.<br><br>The faulty 7004FW is soon to be on it's way back to SMC and my old reliable 7004BR is back in it's place. <br><br>Doesn't have the geek toys, but it least it doesn't try to rewrite routing tables...]]></description>

This is when your problems started. <br><br>Adelphia deprovisioned my cable modem, which cleared up the problem, then a support technician called me and worked with me to get it working again. SMC sent me new firmware which they claimed would fix the issue. It did not.<br><br>The SPI firewall is turned off now!<br><br>To anyone I've inconvenienced, I sincerely apologize.]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[<A HREF="/useremail/u/712368"><b>jaquestati</b></A> : this is not a fluke or user error....  its a real issue...<br><br>7-10 people in bethel park pa all coming down with routeritis in the past 3-4 days....<br><br>wish they would ackowledge it at least :)  :(<br><br>for those who are having it...... IT WILL eventually get a ip that works if you keep restarting/powering down the modem with the pc and router off..... may take 50-60 restarts and a wasted day out of your life but it can be done.... just make sure you have it on a battery backup till this problem is resolved :(]]></description>
