Re: Quake2 Server on Linux... That game is a little bit before my time, but if it is anything like RTCW you should be able to connect to it by choosing the local network in your game browser since your all networked together.
There are issues when trying to connect to your own server through the internet from behind a router. The only way this is possible is if you can get seperate IP addresses for each computer.
