| Reality hurts all People you are making assumtions based on a small bit of knowlege given by an email written by the isp. Reality is if they want to they can put any filters they want on.
1. Its their network
2. Say they have 60000 customers and they feel it will make life better for 59999 customers or even 1 customer thats their perogative.
3. Some one stated the isp should ignore the riaa or mpaa, what if they were presented with a court order that said they have to comply with the riaa or mpaa?
4. Why should they let you do something that is against the law?
5. If people have this much time to bitch and find reasons to bitch about they need to get a life. People may not remember but there was a time before the internet. If customers continue to bitch moan and complain about their isp's mabey all the isps should close up shop and no more internet for any one.
6. There is more to life then internet get a life, go spend quality time with your families. There is a whole world out there with many wonders go explore it.
