Free Wireless?

Around here, get yourself a halfway decent card and set your SSID to "linksys" and you'll have pretty good coverage whether intentional or not

LOL maybe I should try that the next time I'm in your neck of the woods. If you're even in West Chester and you want access, go to the local Burger King in town right north of WCU. You will find at least 3-5 open wireless access points.

Is the BK providing the access? I used to work there years ago when I went to WCU.

I think they meant that you can find some access points around the local BK, while eating a Whopper

Not as far as I know (I don't think they would be, but I didn't go in there so I can't be sure), however, if you're in there, you should be able to pick up open WAPs whose signals bleed over into it.

It's been a few years since I've been back but I don't remember anything around it that I could imagine leaking WiFI signals. Private homes?

Is the AT&T office still across the street?

Yes... it is mostly private homes near there, but I believe they are student-occupied. And yes the CO is still across the street, although its Verizon now.
