Re: [W98] OH NO not AGAIN

i did some more testing

reguardless of which of the 5 ie text sizes you are using
if "message box" text size is above 12 you will not see the buttons (the default size is 8).

you can see them after you hit "tab"
But who would know that? and everyone adjusts the display properties steetings under the appearance tab.

I did this at a font size of 14 (message box)

800 x 600 and again no one should have to adjust the resolution to see those buttons!
any thing higher is out of the question while i am still using this 14" monitor.

to be somewhat fair using google i did find one ms kb
article that addresses this.

»support.microsoft.com/de ··· ;q243433

however it does not refer to message box text size at all

at the bottom it says reviewed 10/2002

i am not a programer and might be wrong but i think
the new v4 displays those buttons differently than the old
winup site did.
the old winup used java i believe for those buttons

if so then the above kb article is no longer valid.

AGAIN it is not the resolution !

its having message box text size at 12 or higher
and microsofts codeing

as a test i checked 2 programs and with both the window
got wider as the font size increased above a certain point

i took message box text size up to the max (24) and in both programs i was able to see the yes and no buttons

the eula window never increases in width !!!

i have screen shots if you want to see them
