Wood Ridge, NJ | More for the money, at least this time My experiences with T/W has been good. My cable internet service (RR) is much better for the money than Verizon DSL that I had. My rate increase for 1-1-03 will be 5%, but I will also now be able to have a free upgraded digital cable box that will allow me to watch HDTV on a HDTV ready TV. From what I see a HDTV converter goes for $600. Also for my 5% increase I get video on demand for HBO, Cinemax, Showtime & The Movie channel for free. That is only free for my cable package called D-Best (internet plus 4 pay groups). VOD allows you to pause, rewind etc ppv and now some cable channels, pretty cool. I definately believe competion would be good and I wish my cable bill was less, but this time they gave some services with the increase. Just my 2 cents... |
