 | New Modem Has So Many Choices Which Is The Best OK I went home for lunch today to discover this HUGE box which contained a HUGE modem. And inside this box cams so may choices for connection. What I would like to know from others who have already taken the leap to the unknown is what connection is the best to use? Parallel, USB, or Ethernet? Has anyone tried all 3 to determine which one was faster? Also has anyone noticed a reduction in there speed and conectivity? Should I start looking for a new provider? |

You can't use USB then switch without contacting Telocity technical support so they can send some signal to the gateway which allows it. PP isn't as fast as Ethernet and printing can cause problems. Stay with Ethernet. It's fastest and uses less machine resources. |
