editing protocol ini ?

i found this line in protocol.ini:

[nwlink$]
DriverName=nwlink$
Frame_Type=4
cachesize=0
maxconnect=10

***************************
Nwlink.vxd is a "Windows IPX/SPX-Compatible Protocol Driver"
if i added a number to the cachesize would it help any?
if so, how much?
thanks for any input.

You are most likely not even using IPX/SPX so it won't have any positive effects. In fact if you aren't using it, I'd suggest getting rid of IPX/SPX as it is just extra baggage.

TCP/IP is the protocol used on the Internet. IPX/SPX is most often used in Novell installations for file and printer sharing.

If you are using IPX/SPX then disregard what I said.
