Been running NetGear MR314 wireless router over a year with BellSouth DSL and No problems... If connection breaks for whatever reason, Router does a PPOE logon and restablishes connection w/o any intervention on my part.... just like LBB says above..

Using the Alcatel STH modem hooked directly to router.. No need to install the BS Enternet Software.
