NTP Service - UDP Port 123

The Network Time Protocol (NTP) is used to synchronize your computers time with another, more accurate clock. In Microsoft Windows systems, the service that performs this function is 'Windows Time'.

UDP Port 123 is open on Macintosh computers with Network Time Synchronization enabled. Disabling this service in Mac OS X is possible by accessing to System Preferences: Date & Time: Network Time.
