A toast to Telocity!!! Down with DirecTV!!! Telocity was my first adventure in broadband. Installation was flawless, customer service and tech support the couple of times I needed it were superb, and the service was flawless. After hearing about other people's nightmares with DSL setups, and now having to endure my own ongoing nightmare switching to Verizon, I have to admit I'll miss the luxury it was be a telocity customer. The whole interface was so much simpler I took it for granted, and now I miss it. 3 cheers for Telocity! As for DirecTV-If you couldn't turn a profit at $60 a month you don't deserve to be in business. To add insult to injury they couldn't find the time to release my line so we could get on with life. From what I'm hearing, I only hope they don't take another month's payment out. Screw the refund-just let me go!!! Damn you DirecTV!!! |
