Re: Great offer from digizip mail at kparamesh@yah From what I've read, resetting the modem to clear the password also clears out all the preconfigured settings, etc. At this point, your modem may be unusable unless you provision the correct settings. Guess you'll have to wait and see when your line is up. Course, if everything still works, let us know |

Re: Great offer from digizip mail at kparamesh@yahooI was also a DirecTV refugee. I had to live in a no-DSL camp 18 days. Now I have Digizip's great service; 817 (down)/ 622 (up). I'm happy with this speeds, since my wife can do voice chat with her sister in Japan.;) The followings are my refugee history.
2/6 I read messages in the "Broad Band Report"; posted by param and ross. I made my mind to join them.:) 2/7 I sent the application form as a member of Param's group to Digizip by Fax.
Note: I waited with my heart full of hope.
2/11 Received "Important Information: DSL Order Cancellation for 'DSLACI337288' - Kenji Oka -TBD" message from Digizip.
Note: What a big surprise.:[
2/11 I replied, "I have no intention to cancel the order. "
2/11 Greg replied to me; "You need to call Cyber***** and cancel your pending order before we can proceed. "
Note: I had not given any order to Cyber*****, but just sent an inquiry from this "Broad Band Reports" telling my phone and address.
2/11 I sent a message to Cyber*****, "If you have put my inquiry as a "order pending" or something, please release it. "
Note: DirecTVdsl became not to connect to the Internet. I felt I was stacked in a black hole.
2/11~13 I sent several messages and even a fax to Cyber***** to ask to release the line.
2/13 I called Cyber*****. I was able to reach to a support person, and asked to release my line. He could not find my account at his company, and told me that they had no control on my line.
2/13 I sent a message to Digizip to ask to resume my order process.
2/13 About ONE minute later, I received a message form Greg; "WE ARE RESUMING. I was AMAZED by the prompt reply.:D
2/15 When I got to home, I met a UPS delivering my Cisco 678 modem. Really AMAZED! They put it to the two-day delivery.
Note: The delivery box had not any IP or configuration procedure.
2/16 I sent a message to Digizip to ask those information.
2/17 Greg replied to me; "They are still working on this."
2/20 I sent a message to Digizip to confirm that my process had not been in a "black hole".
Note: I became a little anxious.
2/24 I sent a message to Digizip to confirm they were still working.
2/24 Greg replied to me, "should be installed."
Note: I was still a little anxious, because Digizip's services have been so prompt.
2/26 I sent the history that you¡¯ve seen above to let them avoid any misunderstanding.;)
2/27 Greg replied to me, "the ip information should have been sent by an email from support@digizip.com awhile ago."
Note: I thought something wrong has happened to my DSL process.
2/28 I called Digizip in the morning and was able to reach Mike immediately. He checked my line and gave me IP addresses and other info. I went back home a little earlier and set one of my computers up. It's connected to the Internet.
3/1 I set my home LAN connecting 6 computers. I used 4 IPs; still I have one more. My speeds are 817 (down)/ 622 (up); which is fine for me. I don't know if there is anyway to improve the speeds.
Thank you, param and ross. |

My ebay business has really been slowed down without dsl and since I have no dsl I have to do all my business stuff in a little room on a old computer that actually has a 56k modem and is extremely slow.
If anyone can find me some service that will supply service to the Lake Worth Area (zip code: 33462)
I cant have a contract since I am moving to a rural area in June out of state.

 | reply to param7 I don't know what is supposedly so great about digizip. Sent multiple emails to their SALES dept with no reply. I can only imagine what would happen if I were actually a paying customer. NO THANKS! |

 | Dude, call them! They answer their phones. If you are a customer, they reply to e-mail too. |

Re: Great offer from digizip mail at kparamesh@yah Hope this is still on; sent an email to param.
Anyone know if I can order a full install with this package as well? Wiring is complicated in my place, including fire and theft alarm systems... |
