 | This is an email I received tonight from Speakeasy about my old Flashcom service. I already switched toward the end of Feb. I live in the northern part of NJ and have no complaints about the service. Only once did I ever experience some small packet loss and that was only doing a line test. I was still getting at least 1.2mb a sec. If anybody still hasn't switched service it time to go. The turtle has left the building. ________________________________________________________ Your Flashcom DSL connection WILL BE DISCONNECTED next Tuesday, March 20, 2001. | reply to Anon My line died tonight at around 6:35pm EST. It came back to life around 3 hours later and I found that I had been switched over. I chose to go with a different ISP rather than Speakeasy. All I can tell so far is this new setup is FAST! I have already noticed quicker responses on web browsing. I am glad I made the effort to look for other options. |
