Yes, I am using IE 5.5 and I use WS_FTP in passive mode too. Perhaps that is the difference. I only FTP in passive mode. Maybe that is why I haven't had a problem yet(operative word is yet). If I do have to FTP to or from someplace that is active FTP only I guess I can just deactivate that rule for a few seconds for the download.
