The digital channels look great & (2)HighDef channels are incredible, but the analog channels 2-99 need the software/firware updates. Most features are not yet installed/enabled. (ie. built-in cable modem, firewire port, DVI port, smartcard, PVR & Hard Drive, etc.)
According the Motorola's site, the 5200 has these features, the 5100 does not. Now this may simply be a matter of pre-installed features (take a 5100 add a harddrive and upgrade the firmware and you now have a 5200).

PS: The Firewire port mentioned in the 5200 is used to add an external harddrive to expand PVR capacity. Cool idea! |
