Question about GigaNews

Everyone,

Just have a quick question about GigaNews. Is Giganews a "web only" interface to the newsgroups, or can you use a program like Forte' Agent to access it? The reason I ask is that I currently use Forte' Agent, and I love the program. Personally, I hate to use the web for things like e-mail, newsgroups, etc because I like the idea that my mail and newsgroup information is stored on my PC for as long as I want to keep it (IE if I want to hold all my sent mail for the last 8 years, I can do so).

So, I'm just asking if and when we get switched to GigaNews, if all I have to do is register, and then go into Forte' Agent and change my settings to point to the Giganews server and change my username/password?

Thanks in advance,

--Brian

Not to sound like a d*** or anything but did you even go to the Giganews website? On the main page they are promoting Forte for people to try with their service.

Hey thanks!

I did not even think to check their webpage for that information. I'm glad that I can still use Forte' Agent when we get switched over.
