They showed the same commercial but I live in Coon Rapids MN a little north of St.Paul but it said Proud to be serving Minneapolis and shows a sign of minneapolis.

I have seen a couple different Comcast commercials and have also been seeing Comcast trucks.

Our commercials say "Comcast, proud to be New England's new cable provider" and shows the "Now Entering New England" sign.

Comcast is running ads here in Sacramento and specials to sign up subscribers. A mailer arrived offering 6 months at $19.95/month for new cable internet subscribers. This offer ends March 2.

I think you guys missed the commercial or didn't hear it completely. I think it said they where proud to be pillaging the area.

Some one get a video capture of these commercials so we can really investigate this.

Same thing here in the Chicago area. Been about 10 days since they started. And there are really spamming the commercials too. Also the Lance Armstrong ones too.

I finally started seeing comcast commercials last night (after 8 hours of 10 minute cable TV outages); regular ones no "we're glad to be serving you" ones. I guess they figure since most people who were ATTBI in the Pittsburgh area were Comcast 2 years ago; that no one would notice the absence.

Yeah I love it, "now entering New England." There's no freakin' entering New England sign! You come here, and you realize you're here because you're freezing your ass off, you don't need a damn sign to tell you you're here.

Funny, they did the "now entering" signs on the commercials everywhere hehe. Wonder how much that cost them that they could have put towards upgrading old cable lines? BTW, our area says "Now entering Puget Sound."

Hmmm, hire Lance Armstrong to sell cable to the people who already have it or upgrade existing cable? Doesn't seem like a hard business choice to me. Obviously Comcast has skewed priorities which isn't a good indication of things to come

unfortunately 90% of the people who pay comcast for some service or other are going to have a better opinion of comcast due to the Lance Armstrong association alone; most people could care less that all of a sudden there's contractors all over the place running fiber as long as their tv has a half decent picture. Besides, whatever they paid him probably isn't even a drop in the bucket compared to what they'll end up paying to fix all the stuff AT&T left them.

BTW: I noticed a quite a few contractors running fiber all of a sudden in my travels today, so it looks like they're doing something; at least in the eastern subburbs of Pittsburgh.

Well i have att broadband here in weirton and they upgraded our area back in 2000. Of course we lost wb22 when they upgraded but as att said "who cares." I have too noticed the new commericals saying "welcome to pittsburgh" and "now entering pittsburgh." Also i got a nice little notice on my dct this morn tellin me they were changing dmx music to music choice effective 3/27.

It's funny to hear all the old ATT commercial on the radio with Comcast Cable spliced in. LOL!

Saw my first Comcast billboard the other day on the way home from work.
