If you simply write zeroes to the entire drive, the drive is then zeroed, except for attacks using specialized equipment.<br><br>You can get a utility to write zeroes to the entire drive from the disk vendors (they seem to be vendor-specific, though I don't know why).<br><br>Markus will now tell us why the disk ought to be physically shredded :-)]]></description>
