Oak Park, IL | Anyone else lost service with Northpoint My service has been out (suburbs of Chicago) since Friday (16th March) and I was wondering if anyone else with Phoenix/Northpoint has lost service. My symptoms are there is no IP service, the 3com modem is still sync'd with the DSLAM (green DSL light). I can't complain to Phoenix since I told them several times they had cancelled the order and they installed it anyway  no bills though! |

Northpoint went belly up last Friday. The company who bought them decided to suspend all costumers immediately.

My line went down last week. Only 2 weeks after I was switched from my solid phoenix connection to telocity. |

| NP is still up. I'm now under Telocity, ex-PhoenixDSL, and everything is fine at this time.

I have NorthPoint and I live in a North Shore Chicago suburb. I'm not home, right now, but my line monitor assures me that I still have service.

Still alive outside of Philly with not only Northpoint, but still on PhoenixDSL connection as well, if you can believe that one.
I'm beginning to feel like the 9/10 dead guy in the war flick who has enough strength to pull the trigger one last time and take out the guy who thought that he was going to make it. |
