Re: Wireless home network

I have SBBD with a Linksys BEFSR41 broadband router behind it. If I recall, when the service was first installed, the account name they gave me was also entered in as my computer's host name (computer name). They may check the host name. I think I had to set the host name in the Linksys to get the connection to work. I also entered in ut.sprintbbd.net in the domain name field in the Linksys but I think it worked without this. Then I set it to obtain the IP automatically. Strange thing though, If I turn off the computer that originally was set up with the service, the other computers hooked up to the Linksys can no longer connect to the internet. Just plain weird.
