There was supposed to be switching beginning in March for Rhythms customers. I'm in the data base and wonder if any Rhythms have moved yet or if we're all on hold? |

Not in the db yet, despite 4-5 calls over the past months.
Gave them my info once (except CC), which was put "into the spreadsheet".
Next time I called, they weren't using the spreadsheet anymore.
I'll be checking again late next week. |

Called them Friday, am finally in the database. Said 7-10 days for CC auth, then they'll send the modem. I'm in the Boston area. |

Called two weeks ago, I was not in the database. Called again a week ago, still not there.
As of this morning, my DSL was down for the first time ever. All the lights on the modem looked fine, but I could not even ping my gateway. I don't know whether this is temporary, but I have stepped up my efforts to contact Telocity. Nothing yet... |

Just got off the phone with Telocity. They cannot find me in their database, and they have given up on me. They are telling me I need to place an order with them.
I'm going to see what other options I have available... |

My line went down at about 5:30 p.m. The gateway is down. Called Telocity and was told that Phoenix is starting to shut down their system. But they will not have the circuit rebuilt by Rhythms until tomorrow afternoon. And to call back then to get the IP and other info. Guess we will see how this ends up.
Sure was nice of them to let us know. They had no trouble charging my credit card yesterday.

The last time I talked to someone at Telocity (Thursday, March 22), I was still not in their database from Rhythms and they suggested I call new order dept. and place a new order. When I did that, I was told that Telocity does not have service available to my area.
Having been without a home connection since Feb 26, last week I mailed letters to Telocity, Megapath and Phoenix and told them I consider that a breach of service as per term # 10 of my Phoenix contract and if the problem wasn't corrected within 30 from them receiving my letter, to consider my agreement cancelled with no termination fee.
