So I toss it in the pool and for a moment think it's going to float.

A few seconds later I notice it's going down.

Why didnt Sprint build such good modems as DirecTV?

This thread made me cackle like a hyena! Here I was expecting you to describe how (A) they're unreliable (B) poor tech support or (C) not working right.

I agree. I think flotation is a key element for a DSL modem/gateway. Why do you think they replaced the X1? It was technically a better device, but I have to admit it did have poor bouancy.
