mfmruizv : I had the same problem with another game what i did is if you havent already update all your drivers for your video card . Go to the directx panel click on each side panel and make sure there is no conflicts there that is the main problem for that to happen. If everything is good there try reinstalling the game and deleting the folder it was in after u uninstall it. That fixed it for me hope it works for you gl.

z28kindaguy : First off... Welcome to dslr! :D

Couple of questions...
Are you able to tell if its network lag, or if your FPS (frames per second) is dropping?
Low FPS can make it look like your net connection to the game server is poor, and vice versa.
Some games will allow you to display what FPS you're getting, making it easier to tell which is lagging.
--
SETI is a waste.
lone_sniper : I have just reformatted my computer in hopes of it running fast and smooth.
It is running fast but it is not running all my video games correctly.
I am getting spikes in my games which makes it so every couple seconds in a game, around a minute or so, it goes to a slow halt for about 10-15 seconds.
I get these spikes in every game I have and they are in multiplayer and singleplayer games.
This problem has never happened to me before.
I have no programs running in the background except the system processes.
I have no anti-virus software so it cant be that.
I am using Windows XP, 1.5 GHz, 512 megabytes ram, 128 MB Radeon 8500 graphics card and I have a 33 gig hard drive.
Can someone help me?
