'Hold' means
sell
in brokerspeak. Analyst issuing a 'hold'
in fact tells you to sell the stock.
Analysts rarely use actual 'sell' because of brokerage
business implications.
'Buy' recommendation is a true hold.
And only a 'strong buy' is actually a buy.
