Kinda funny you mention that.... you want to know where Al Gore's daddy got all his money from..... you guessed it, OIL! So using your logic I guess Al would also have been pro big business for oil.
reply to 72276539 well the big cheese has his veep with him. if i remember correctly the veep was big chief at some oil company. there are probably quite a few others on his staff that are "friends of texas", too.
gore may have family in the oil business but i doubt he would have surrounded himself in oil-related personnel like bush jr.
and gore wasn't running from a state where oil makes kings. i believe we have had a few kings from texas. lyndon johnson comes to mind, and there may be others further back in history.
